What Is Edgy?

Do NOT drink everytime I say "edgy."

Remember hipsters?

Cropped shirts and high-waisted jeans, often ripped. Denim jackets and Birkenstocks. Dainty floral dresses, most likely thrifted, with Doc Martens. Oversized hoodies and leggings.

For those who were even vaguely cognizant of fashion between, say, 2005-2010, you probably have a very distinct image of what I just described: cooler-than-thou girls with bangs who would never listen to mainstream music and their shaggy-haired boyfriends who are most definitely in a band. But, for those even vaguely cognizant of fashion, today: I just described what people are wearing right now. All you need is a fake mustache and it would be just like 2009, again.
